The beach stretches approximately 2.1 miles long. The Manhattan Beach Pier features an aquarium and views of the ocean. The small downtown area features boutiques, cafes, pubs & upscale restaurants. The Strand, officially known as Marvin Braude Bike Trail, is a 22-mile bike path that runs mostly along the Pacific Ocean shoreline in Los Angeles County, California. The paved bike path starts from Will Rogers State Beach to Santa Monica and Venice Beach, then to Marina Del Rey, Playa del Rey and to the Beach Cities of the South Bay: Manhattan, Hermosa, Redondo, down to Torrance Beach, where the path ends.
