Our expectation is that the participant is friendly, hard working, honest, reliable, and has effective English communication skills. At the conclusion of the program the intern should gain a solid working knowledge of an American full service, upscale, branded hotel operation. This knowledge will be achieved through practical experience in the Front Office areas within the hotel. In addition the trainee may receive exposure to other hotel operating departments including; Catering and Banquets, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping and Laundry. Front Office 3 months 1. Practical training in the understanding of department job descriptions 2. Practical training in knowledge of local attractions and common direction requests 3. Practical training in the computer systems for guest registration 4. Learn all processes of room inventory, check-in, check-out, guest accounting 5. In depth training on service recovery and total guest satisfaction 6. Learn all processes of Concierge, luggage delivery, guest services.
